About the Print Types

Unmatted Paper Print

Unmatted paper prints are available in small to medium sizes. They are glossy and high contrast. Please note all unmatted paper prints 8"x10" and larger have a 1/4" white border. If you have a custom border request for your unmatted paper prints, such as a black for lava images or 1/4" for the larger unmatted print sizes, please use the contact form or email us before you place the order.

Matted Paper Prints

Matted paper prints have a luster coating and are ready to be displayed in a variety of standard frame sizes. The first measurement listed is the outer size of mat, the size of the frame you would get The second measurement is the size of the matt cutout and image size. The default mat color for all orders is white. Optional black mats with a white inner core are available by request.

Metal

Our most popular print option. Aluminum metal prints are known for their extraordinary color and sleek modern look. Reflective and glossy metal prints are stunning and luminous additions to any space. Minimal gloss and satin finishes for metal prints are available by request on most metal sizes. Metal prints include a frame backing behind the image and arrive ready to display on the wall.

In addition to the distinct look, metal prints also offer added durability with UV resistance, scratch resistance, and moisture resistant properties.

Canvas

Premium fine art Giclee canvas wraps are printed on museum quality canvas using high quality archival inks.  The canvas is then stretched over a 1.5 inch wooden frame, with the edge of the image mirrored to extend and wrap around the sides of the frame. Literally and figuratively, these premium fine art canvas giclees stands out from the wall. Fitted with a wire hanger on the back of the frame for easy display. Matte finish canvas prints have a classic and timeless look.

Acrylic Prints

Archival quality acrylic images are printed on a premium photo paper and mounted to a reinforced dibond backing and sealed for protection with a 1/4" anti-glare acrylic resign designed to reducing or eliminate most reflections and glare. These qualities and standards are considered by some to be highest available in photographic prints.

Acrylic prints are scratch and abrasion resistant as well as 99% UV resistant.  Designed to be showcased, these high end prints arrive ready to display on the wall with an aluminum inset backing and french cleat mounting hardware.
