About the Print Types

Unmatted Paper Print

Unmatted paper prints come in small to medium sizes, featuring a glossy finish and high contrast. Each unmatted paper print, sized 8"x10" or larger, includes a 1/4" white border. For custom border requests on your unmatted paper prints, like a black border for lava images or a specific width for larger sizes, please reach out through the contact form or email us prior to placing your order.

Matted Paper Prints

Matted paper prints feature a lustrous coating and are prepared for display in various standard frame sizes. It's important to note that two measurements are provided. The first is the overall mat size, which corresponds to the frame size you should purchase. The second is the size of the mat opening, which also matches the image size. All orders come with a default white mat. Optional black mats with a white core are available by request.

For most sizes we are able to offer metal prints with minimal gloss or a no gloss satin finish by request. Metal prints arrive with a frame backing behind the image and arrive ready to display on the wall.

Canvas

Premium fine art Giclee canvas wraps are printed on museum quality canvas using high quality archival inks.  The canvas is stretched over a 1.5 inch wooden frame, with the edge of the image mirrored to extend and wrap around the sides of the frame. Literally and figuratively, these canvas giclee prints stands out from the wall. Fitted with a wire hanger on the back of the frame for easy display.

Acrylic Prints

Acrylic prints are produced on high-quality archival photo paper, which is affixed to a sturdy dibond backing and topped with a sleek 1/4" anti-glare acrylic resin. These prints aim to minimize or remove most reflections and glare while being resistant to scratches, abrasions, and UV damage. They come prepared for wall display, complete with an aluminum inset frame and French cleat mounting system.
